Welcome to the beginning of our guest blogging series called “Everyday Jesus.” (Are you excited?? I SURE AM!!) To kick things off, today we feature an inspiring and wise friend of mine, Susan. She has incredible insight when it comes to walking with Christ and always has her eyes open, looking for Jesus in everyday life. I pray that her sweet and genuine words touch your heart and inspire your life– she is quite a gal and I am blessed to introduce you to her today. [Read more...]
Friday is upon us once again, my beloved followers.
And that can mean only one thing.
Yes, it’s the weekend. (Well, almost.) But even more so, it means that it’s time for Five Minute Friday.
In short: Fridays we link up with our favorite Gypsy Mama Lisa-Jo. She gives us a prompt. We write. For five minutes.
No excessive strategerizing. No planning. Just rolling with it and seeing what Jesus has to say.
So… Let’s see what He has to say to us here at 7 Days Time today.

Ahhhh… I love to be comfortable. I am gonna take a guess that you do too. Take a moment to think about when you are most comfortable… Where are you? What are you wearing? What makes you comfortable? It is an INCREDIBLE feeling. What more could we ask for? [Read more...]
People think I am crazy. Hey, sometimes I think I am crazy too. (We have covered this thought in several posts prior to this one.) But sometimes a little crazy is a good thing.
Last week during my quiet time, God led me to the Message version of Philippians 3:13-14. I literally laughed out loud because it reminded me of this ministry.
“I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.” [Read more...]
Ladies and Gentlemen… it’s finally happened. Please, give me a moment to prepare.

I am guest posting for my boss!!
Ok, she really doesn’t like it when I call her “Boss.” (At least that is what she SAYS.) But Kelli Wommack isn’t just my boss. She is my mentor. My personal cheerleader. My coach. And my best Georgia friend.
I think I’m smitten. [Read more...]
The tires are humming on the highway. The radio on just enough to provide some background noise but soft enough to avoid drowning out the conversation going on between the driver and passenger.
“When do I turn?”
“Um, let me look. I feel like it is coming up.”
“Come ON, babe, its rush hour… I need to know if I need to exit anytime soon. Can I get over?”
“NO, don’t merge you are blocked in… This paper map is terrible. Our GPS says it is coming up soon. What exit number is this?”
“TURN NOW!!!” [Read more...]
I don’t know about you, but I enjoy a good list. That’s right, I am a list maker and checker-offer. I have a color-coded white board right inside the front entryway of our house to keep track of my masters homework and general “To Do” stuff. I have virtual “sticky notes” on the desktop of my computer. And don’t even get me started on making grocery lists. Yes, I am THAT girl that, if things are uber busy/crazy and I do something that WASN’T on my list that perhaps was semi-profound, I write it down after it is completed THEN check it off or erase it. I know. I need help. It’s on my list [Read more...]
