The Last Word #EverydayJesus

Welcome to another week of our Everyday Jesus link-up. Be sure to link-up below this post, comment on your neighbor’s blog and share with your friends… Because Jesus is everywhere, every day!

So yeah. It’s no secret that I am stubborn.

And one area of stubbornness God has been working on me in the last few years is this area of having “The Last Word.”

Fortunately, I don’t have the last word– and neither does the enemy. Check out the following video blog for a little something something to encourage your heart today.

So friends… How does this “Last Word” concept strike you? How can we make it more of a truth in our lives as we walk with Jesus? Join the conversation and leave a comment.

Remember, no matter how hard we are fighting or how defeated we feel, the enemy doesn’t have that last word.

Jesus does.

  1. Loved this message, Sharita! I think most of us struggle with pride issues that cause us to want to have the last word at times.

Thankfully, while it appears that the enemy has the last word, we have read THE WORD and we know that, like you said, Jesus is the One who has it.

Praise God that “it is finished”!

May we all strive to live lives that point to Him until the day we get to hear Him say, “well done, my good and faithful servant”.

Blessings to you and yours, Sharita!

  2. You, stubborn? I would never have guessed…that’s because I’m not stubborn either! HA!

Oh yeah, the last word. Seems like all too often I want the first word, the middle word, AND the last word. God’s always hearing a little *something* from me. Telling Him what to do, when to do it, how to do it. As if He can’t do the job alone…

OK, sometimes it’s good to just be still and let HIM be God.

    • Oh no, I am totally not stubborn– OR sarcastic. Not even a little bit… And so glad HE has the last word too (that isn’t sarcasm…)
